Birdies for the Brave is a nationwide program launched by the U.S. Department of Defense that recognizes citizen's support for military men and women and communicates that support to members of our Armed Forces at home and abroad. 

Heritage Golf Group is commited to delivering a world-class golf experience that includes being a valued and responsible company by supporting programs that positively impact the communities in which our clubs reside.

Throughout 2008, Heritage Golf Group held nine Birdies for the Brave golf tournaments and accompanying auction galas which raised over $474,000.  In 2009, Heritage Golf Group is setting the lofty goal of hosting nine tournaments to help raise $1,000,000.

Proceeds from these events benefit six military homefront groups:

• Special Operations Warrior Foundation
• Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
• Naval Special Warfare Foundation
• Wounded Warrior Project
• Operation Homefront
